Strong looks for powerful women

Powerful women in the work place are usually also super busy women… multi-tasking many duties at one time. This however, is no excuse for not taking the time to look your finest. The old saying, “You only have one time to make a first impression,” stands true and it is of utmost importance to not only BE in a position of power, but also LOOK the part.

Having a neat and well coiffed appearance will exude confidence and importance. Hair color and cuts MUST be well maintained with regular appointments at your professional stylist.
Classic bob shapes are excellent for all ages and frame the face while simultaneously looking polished and professional.

Avoid rigid styles such a slicked back, low buns as this will make you look un-approachable.
Naturally curly haired women should be careful to make sure their hair still has the appearance of control as to avoid looking unkempt. Curl defining crèmes will be your best friend.

A great face of makeup can be applied in 5 minutes when you stick to the basics.
1.    Foundation should be an exact match to your skin color and used sparingly to correct redness and conceal blemishes.
2.    Dark brown eyeliner when applied close to the lash line on top and bottom will make your lashes look fuller and your eyes brighter.
3.    Carefully apply your mascara as to avoid and lumps or clumps.
4.    As we get older, our lips have less color and shrink in fullness. Create the lips you want with long wearing lipstick. This is awesome as it will last all day long and you will never leave that embarrassing mark on your coffee cup.
