Attend an Aquage Master Class!

For those of you that know me well, know that I LOVE learning!  I truly believe that Knowledge = Confidence and Confidence = Success.  So here I am in GORGEOUS Miami for an Aquage Master Class.  In order to teach, I must continue to learn. To be a well rounded stylist it is crucial to be open to learning new skills.

The amazing Master Class was held at the gorgeous Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach. Check out the fun schedule for the two days:

day 1
disconnection & diffusion
day 1 morning session 9 am to 1 pm
learn how to use disconnection to control weight-balance and distribution and how to cut diffusion within structure.


textural transformation & editorial hairdressing
day 1 afternoon session 2 pm to 6 pm
learn innovative thermal setting techniques to achieve virtually any texture and how to create loose, editorial updos and dramatic shapes and forms.


day 2

mixed media creative cutting
day 2 morning session 9 am to 1 pm
expand your haircutting skills by mixing tools and techniques to balance creative freedom with commercial success.


long hairdressing & image making
day 2 afternoon session 2 pm to 6 pm
create Aquage signature updos with maximum speed and proficiency and learn how to capture images that create maximum visual arrest.

Check out my textural transformation mannequin.  We worked with lots of ironing and styling tricks. Oh, and did I mention... the food at lunch today was super yummy, the sunshine was warm and the ocean is really blue... BONUS!

Day two was an amazing day covering business info, cutting, finishing techniques, and culminated in a NAHA photo shoot with the incredibly talented Ann Bray.  We all got to take a tiny glimpse of her stunning collection.

Website Updated: www.SherriJessee.com

i-Life has a very easy to use website design program called i-Web. It is so easy to maneuver that it is possible for a Mac user to create their very own website and customize it. You can add text, photos, movies, and widgets, and publish your site through your Mobile Me account. 
My website, www.sherrijessee.com, is always a work in progress. As I have new information, it is simple to change it up right from my own computer and publish the site changes in minutes. Yesterday, I created a new home page. Can you believe the idea came to me in a dream? Each of the eight photo tiles represent a different page or site and you can click on each of the above tiles and they will take you directly there. Allow me to walk you through the various options.  

When you click on the "REAL CUTS for REAL PEOPLE" tile, you will go directly to the site where you can purchase my new educational DVD featuring 3 of my favorite haircuts.
